Party Guide - Organisation

Being organized is the key to a great party especially if it is a bachelor party or bacehlorette weekend. This is not agood time to rely on spontaneity to do your mates proud - there is nothing worse for a bachelor party than an uninspired night, spending half the evening wandering around a city centre which you don't know, without any idea of where to go.

If you are thinking of just meeting at a bar and then heading off without any plans, rest assured, you've got more chance of being hit by lightning than being the guy who organised the best party ever.

Party Guide - Choosing Your Dates & Location

It goes without saying that you'll have a range of people at the party so budgets and availability will have to be considered. If you are having a bachelor or bridal party please, pleas,e please, don’t go for the easy option and have it in your own town. It’s their very last weekend of freedom and it should be held in another city far far away from all family etc.

Choosing your dates is also important if you want cheap flights don’t book public holidays or when big sporting events are happening in specific cities.

BOOK EARLY - don’t leave it to the last minute, it’s a nightmare trying to find a hotel for 20 people. Also bear in mind that some hotels will not accept big bachrlor party bookings.

Party Guide - Invitations

Do you invite the in laws or not? It depends whether they are up for a party and understand what happens on tour stays on tour or if they are likely to go mad watching the stag or hen enjoy a saucy stripper…

Once you’ve got rough dates and prices then inform everyone. You will probably get almost 90% of people saying yes initially the key is to get them to pay a deposit. You will soon find out who is serious.

Party Guide - Plan Activities

Don’t just leave everyone just to drink, organise daytime and night time events from paintballing through to a night at the dogs. Make sure everyone eats this helps soak up the beer. Also enjoy your weekend don’t let 1 or 2 people spoil the party, keep an eye on the loud mouths and put them in a taxi and send them home if they’re becoming to much.
